Yesterday in worship, there was some scripture read that brings out a pretty bold challenge.
1 Peter 3 says this:
- Live in harmony with one another
- be sympathetic
- love as brothers
- be compassionate and humble.
- Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing.
David went on to read 1 Peter 4. Here’s what it had to say:
- Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
- Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
- Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
- If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
- If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides
So how’s that for a challenge in less than 5 verses in the Bible?

Great challenge. I am always amazed at those who can consistently live up to this challenge.
