You know there’s nothing that I can say on social media that will change anyone’s minds about the topics of racism, same-sex marriage, or “heritage or hate”.   So I choose to be silent and just live my life building on the relationships that are real in my life.  I appreciate the friends that are around me that choose to agree with me and those that choose to challenge my thinking.

Yesterday, ACS Technologies lost our Chairman of the Board.  Billy Campbell was a key resource from the very beginning of the company.  He will be missed.  He taught me so many things.  I appreciate the positive attitude he exhibited. Our company, our family, will never be the same. Thank you Billy for believing in me.

Let the record show that while most of us will be surrounded by friends and family during the holidays, there are some out there that don’t have friends and family.  I spoke to one today that said she gets rather depressed since all her family is in another state and she has no friends.  Don’t forget to remember people around you,

I’d like to also share that 7 Ebenezer kids gave their hearts to Jesus last week while at Centrikid Camp.  It was a pleasure to be a part of the process of seeing God working in their hearts.  If you’ve never had the opportunity to lead someone to Jesus Christ,  start talking to people about your faith now… Be willing!

We have decided to sell our house and we now have a signed contract on it (Happy)… and the process is progressing well.  If things go well, we have about 3 weeks left here. (Sad)  If you know someone with a 2 or 3 BR condo or house that needs a renter for just a few short months, please let me know.

Finally, a quick message to fellow Christians.  Screaming (figuratively) at non-believers what the Bible says won’t help.

1 Corinthians 2 tells us:  People who aren’t [believers] can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are [believers] can understand what the Spirit means.

So… talk with you all soon.  Pray for Billy’s family, lonely friends, new kids who are growing up in Christ, as well as our country.
